John Lowery, DO, PhD

Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency

John Lowery DO, PhD, earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Maine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Central Maine Medical Center. Dr. Lowery is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. His medical interests include community-based care, preventative and evidence-based medicine.  His research expertise involves better understanding mechanisms of pain and addiction and focus primarily on novel drug development. Dr. Lowery cares for patients from newborns through geriatrics and currently serves as the Medical Director for CMMC Family Medicine Residency Program.
